ne of my best friends on the planet, Patrick aka Smiley. We met in 2011. Wow, where has the time gone. We met while we both were homeless in downtown Portland, Oregon. We were a homeless couple. We slept under the Steele Bridge on the sidewalk. This man has been there for me since 2011. He made sure I was safe, and protected living on the actual streets. In 2014, I was walking from the Light rail train stop by the Llyod Center Mall after attending a full day of college classes to a shelter for Women ONLY. I was brutally attacked!! I was severely injured.This man stepped up and took care of me. Finally after waiting FOUR YEARS for the surgery to be approved. In January 2018, I had spinal fusion neck surgery, once again he stepped up to care of me. I am very grateful to this man. He will FOREVER AND ALWAYS be One of my best friends on the planet. I have so MANY GREAT PEOPLE in MY LIFE !! I AM TRULY BLESSED for having many friends Who ARE NOT the Same Skin Color as ME! I have learned so much from each of them.

ALL HOMELESS PEOPLE LIVES MATTER!!! Portland has a large homeless people community.
More NEEDS to be DONE to help the homeless community. They are harassed every day and night. You want the homeless people OFF THE STREETS, GET THEM a Place to LIVE, have apartment complexes that takes ALL FELONIES!! Provide FREE MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENTS, FREE DRUG ADDICTION AND ALCOHOL ABUSE TREATMENT, SEXUAL ASSAULT HELP, FREE .. LEARN A TRADE so they can get JOBS!! Help those who are DISABLED GET SSI AND SO MUCH MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE!! HAVE more resources of EVERY DAY NECESSITIES LIKE MENSTRUAL PADS OR TAMPONS FOR HOMELESS Women. I have written 26 pages so far and intend to write more pages on My Life As HOMELESS Woman.
